We got in to the campsite late last night after the baseball game. I think it was around 10:30. After about 40 minutes of setting up camp we were in bed and ready to rest. Rest was not something we experienced. It was one of the most humid and uncomfortable nights of sleep I've ever had. Luckily I had my wicking camp towel that I soaked in water and placed on my head to keep me cool. Surprisingly it was the abrupt change in weather around around 3:30 AM that caught my attention. There was a sharp change in temperature (78 to 68) and a steady increase in wind. Around 4 AM I woke Connor up and we quickly tore down camp (around 30 minutes) and found shelter. The wind and cool air feels nice. I hope the storm is brief and doesn't influence our travel much.
